Don't make me a hero.
This is not poetry.
This is a story about a girl who takes everything too seriously, a boy who sometimes doesn't think before speaking and a dog who watched them both, just sitting there
A fixture you only notice like how you'd notice a bulb that flickers right before it's about to blow.
This is a story about waiting for the phone to ring, bad reception, the emptiness of university corridors in the summer and the way make up melts in the equatorial humdity.
It is about people who say things they don't mean and people who struggle every day with the question of whether they can turn their lives into giant artpieces each and whether their art will count.
